Currently the game is planned for a Japan release but I have a gut feeling it’s only a matter of time before it gets localized. In the past PQube tried localizing Omega Labyrinth Z on the PS4. This was before Sony caved in to the censorship weenies. This unfortunately led to the localization getting cancelled. Time passed and a new Omega Labyrinth game was announced for the Switch. In a surprise move D3 Publishing announced the game would also get a PS4 version…albeit it heavily censored of course.
The Nintendo Switch version is called Omega Labyrinth Life while the PS4 one is “Labyrinth Life”. Put simply everything having to do with glorious breast mechanics, like gameplay features and CGs will be toned down, censored or removed in the PS4 version. The ONLY pro is the PS4 version being cheaper.
For a full breakdown of the differences between versions check out these posts on Twinfinite and Siliconera. The game is scheduled for an August 1st (Oppai Day) release in Japan. Hopefully it won’t be long before the Switch version is localized. Whether PC owners will also get to pick up Omega Labyrinth Life (Screw Labyrinth Life) is unknown.
