This show continues to drive me crazy in the best possible way each episode.
We began the episode with Anne excitedly knocking on Grea’s door till the shy beauty opened up. Anne wanted to go shopping with Grea to celebrate her evolution. Grea didn’t have anything to wear and Anne was like “I brought you something just in case”. Grea’s reaction killed me. Also she cut her hair back to how it was, which I’m sure will please fans who prefer this look. Anyway the reason Anne wore glasses was because she took notes from Clark Kent in hopes of hiding her identity from the public. Unfortunately it failed though she didn’t seem to mind.
As they continued their date (Let’s not kid ourselves. That’s exactly what it was) Anne noticed an interesting alleyway and the two checked it out. At the end they found a peculiar store.
It turned out to be Miss Miranda’s, the teacher who helped Hanna care for Grea last episode, secret “armor” store. She lived the dream of making a profit from her hobby, though it was against school rules so she asked our heroines to keep it a secret.
Best one is Battle Mage Anne. So hot.
Afterward the two grabbed some crepes. Grea saw a row boat passing by and asked Anne if they could ride one. On the boat Grea noticed Anne was a bit nervous. She had a big secret…she couldn’t swim. Of course as we saw last time she had ways of traversing through water. Still Grea was glad to be one of the few who knew about this secret. Grea thanked Anne for the clothes she lent her and hoped they could go on another date in the future. Anne jumped for joy but as she’s about to agree…
When it comes to yuri romance the general populace tend to prefer soap operas/telenovelas, melodramas, complicated stories and stuff like that. While they do have their charm…when given the choice of my kind of yuri I will always lean more towards the fluffy and heart warming kind. Stories of girls/women falling in love with no strings attached. Just a simple plot or subplot about girls gazing at each other with longing eyes, getting into situations like this as they slowly but surely reach the point they can no longer hold back their feelings. I really hope that’s where they’re going with this show. The silence in this moment before Anne broke it was as hot as a make out scene in Valkyrie Drive Mermaid, Sakura Trick or that storage room scene in Bloom Into You. My heart was beating so fast.
Anne broke the ice asking Grea if she could have a sleepover. In her now signature mannerism Grea took a few seconds before answering with aaaaaaaaaaaa “Nope”. Anne took it well.
As Anne tortured herself over the reason Grea denied her request we quickly got an answer. Hopefully one day they’ll have that sleepover.
The post-ED was a continuation of Miss Miranda’s side job. Fingers crossed we get a Part 2 is all I’ll say.
