In this episode we got the eagerly anticipated first encounter between Ellie and Hinata followed by two girls cooking for their one true love.
We start the episode with Ellie again raiding Sophie’s blood storage. Sophie was irked but didn’t really mind though she did ask her to not gobble it all down so quickly. Ellie then was like “Okay. I’ll go find some juicy lady necks to bite” but Sophie was like “Times have changed Ellie. There are more discreet ways to get blood”. Ellie was like “Awwww. The old way is more fun”. Now it’s time for the main attraction.
Akari invited Hinata over to play. Ellie thought Hinata was “her type” but all that changed when she erroneously called her a “little girl”. Ellie was like “I’m 450 years old you boobie monster!”
We got explanations on why the insults hurt both girls so much. First was Ellie’s who greatly admired her mother’s beauty and hoped she too would become as beautiful. Alas she’d been bitten too soon.
Hinata was hurt the most. Her issue was a classic case of “Boys are idiots”, meaning she was bullied for looking boyish and having big breasts. Betcha most of them grew up to become homeless breast loving street rats…or the President of the United States. Anyway Ellie got the message and went looking for Hinata to apologize.
As Hinata walked home she too realized her words to Ellie were harsh. Poor dear didn’t notice an empty can on one of the steps and was in danger of breaking her neck.
Fortunately Ellie swooped in and saved the busty tomboy maiden. The two apologized to each other and all was well.
The next segment started with Sophie helping Ellie go modern. Afterward she ran into her neighbor Miss Mori and helped carry her and her groceries. Miss Mori talked about preparing a big meal celebrating her granddaughter coming to visit. This gave Sophie the idea of doing the same to thank Akari for being her future bride.
The next day Sophie made sure to try and stay awake all day working on her big surprise for Akari.
Sophie needed help and asked the one person perfect for the job. Not much to say about the rest of the segment. It’s two girls working together to cook a special meal for the most important person in their lives. There were jokes about poor cooking and obviously vampire traits. Good stuff.
Another fun episode.
