This episode’s introduction made me laugh uncontrollably for five minutes.
So Riko invited her beloved bundle of electric fluff to play at her place and Kanna accepted. She brought along Tohru so she could discuss maid stuff with Riko’s maid and Miss Kobayashi also for her maid expertise. Oh and because they’re her “moms”.
There they met the maid in question, Georgie. Miss Kobayashi was blown away by Georgie’s expertise in maidology. When the three headed to their room Tohru couldn’t keep up with Miss Kobayashi and Georgie’s passion for maids but it all worked out in the end. That was that but the most important part of the segment featured our young lovebirds.
After a wonderful game of Yuri Twister our little heroines sat to play some Mario Kart on Riko’s XBOX One S. Kanna asked Riko if she was getting along well with their classmates. After Riko said she’s super popular Kanna explained that she wanted a relationship similar to that between Tohru and Miss Kobayashi. When Riko openly declared how much she cared about Kanna…
Who knows what would have happened had Riko not forgotten one of the most important lessons in anime rom-coms: Always lock the door when you want to try and get intimate with your loved one. After our adorable family went back home Riko thought long and hard about what had happened on that fateful day whereas Kanna quietly spoke her desires. Oh and “Georgie” was actually Riko’s older sister who loved to pretend being a maid and was also a maid otaku like Miss Kobayashi.
The next segment was about Lucoa and her supposed master, a young lad named Shouta. See, one night Lucoa sensed Shouta performing a summoning ritual. Supposedly he comes from a family of magicians. Lucoa out of curiosity checked things out and accidentally made it appear like he had summoned her. She dropped by our heroines’ pad in hopes of them helping Shouta better understand Lucoa since her attempts to comfort him through seduction failed. He then explained the reason he tried summoning a demon was to show his father that he was a worthy successor. Miss Kobayashi told him it was troublesome for Lucoa to be wasting her time there.
Shouta agreed but Lucoa didn’t have anywhere else to go so she tried convincing Shouta to let her stay by offering infinite riches, knowledge and power to be of use to him but Shouta is an honorable lad prefering to earn his success. Lucoa went back to square one but that didn’t help either. In short nothing changed between the two.
A decent segment that my younger self would have enjoyed. Otherwise I just enjoyed learning more about Lucoa. Shouta’s cool though.
The third segment, as expected, was about Mr Fafnir and Mr Otaku. Long story short it was the day in the life of two otaku just chillin’. Mr Fafnir still didn’t like humans but living with Mr Otaku he, like Tohru realized that not all humans suck. Also I imagine fujoshi will have a field day with these two.
Here’s another cute KobaToh snuggle moment.
Look at her. A fluffy nuclear bomb that could destroy an entire continent. I’m not talking about her power as a dragon.
Fun episode with some chillaxed moments. Next time will be a favorite of yours truly, finally.
