Koukaku no Pandora Episode 11: Lezborg Rescue

Our heroine ladies and gentlemen.

Super Serious Nene

Kurtz not caring about Nene

I’m surprised Kurtz noticed since he’s so obsessed with his ultimate plan.

I love how this show doesn’t shy away from its humor even during serious moments. After a “femmeservice” moment Nene tried poorly to hide from Colonel Kurtz but he did not see her as someone worth paying attention to. Little did her know that this girl would soon lead to his ultimate undoing.

Disposed

She’s not all bad.

Bunny girl whose name is not important, what other fate did you expect? Colonel Kurtz has a superiority complex so of course he didn’t care whether you’d succeed in your mission or not. At least she never forgot about her brahs.

Pac-Man reference

I suddenly have an urge to play Smash Bros 4 as Pac-Man.

Nene learning to move again

Snippets of Nene being “cyberized”.

I’m not even going to try and explain what happened in this scene. All you need to know is that Nene had an epiphany and used her MC powers to progress the plot by herself.

Vli- looking badass

Will she ever win?

What makes the Invincible Resporter’s misfortunes so sad is that she’s hot. Why must a sexy lady like her be foiled time and again? She’s not THAT selfish. Oh well.

Takumi chanting again

Cyber miko Takumi strikes again.

With the unintentional combined efforts of Kurtz’ hackers and auntie’s cyber miko chanting the BUER firewalls were quickly bypassed.

BUER challenging Takumi

BUER ready for Takumi’s miko hacking.

BUER accepted auntie’s challenge but it was not enough to overcome auntie’s massive ego.

Kurtz confronts Nene

We meet at last my soon to be arch-nemesis.

Seeing as Nene escaped the furnace she got Kurtz’ attention. As one would expect, Kurtz unveiled his master plan, which amounts to a typical “I am the only one smart enough to bring peace to the world and I will use extreme force to do so” scheme villains with “noble” intentions like to spout. Basically Vladimir Putin explaining to a slightly more caring One-Punch Man why he’s the world’s true savior. All she wanted was her wife back…

Clarion's arm

Ouch.

…and her gave her to her.

Wifeys reunited

Together again.

I love how Kurtz was all “Wha…?” and Nene was too busy enjoying being with her spouse again to care about his contemplating.

If only

If only she got a weeee bit closer.

Clarion was like “You shouldn’t have come” and Nene was like “Hush baby. You’re my sweet heart so we’re saving the island together and then snuggle for 10 hours when we’re done” then Clarion was “Okay…baby”…and Kurtz was still contemplating. Did I mention how much I love this show?

Nene and Clarion ready for battle

Next week the lezborgs will teach Vladimir Kurtz a lesson in manners using the power of love and badassery.

It was hilarious how he kept on rambling his speech while Claring and Nene didn’t pay an ounce of attention to him xD This show really knows how to not be serious even when you’d totally expect it. And that’s a good thing in this case. It really fits the rest of the show~

If it wasn’t already made obvious in the previous episodes it is now, there is no force on this earth that can keep Nene from snuggling Clarion. I have a feeling mr.fear doesn’t quite realize what kinda trouble he’s in now that Nene’s there.

On a side note, i see that like the major, Nene also has a strange obsession with trying to force open sealed hatches, funny as hell callback.

Nene’s love is stronger than a hurricane and BUER combined.

I suppose this show has many GitS nods that make fans smile and the selfish ones whine that they didn’t get another installment of said series…like I care about their whining.

I am happy that Nene was able to save Clarion. She just need more confidence. I was happy to see them reunite in the end.

A friendly reminder that Nene’s a super hacker when she puts her mind to it.

See that, Ms. Bunny? Your efforts were rewarded with death. Kurtz never cared about what you or your comrades did. Working for him was a bad decision. On another note, it was cool that she was able to make a terminal out of the junk in that room.

Our Invincible Reporter was even interrupted by her camera crew. However, she’s gonna land this scoop for sure. Nice of the Gerts to help her out with that.

    That BUER/Takumi battle was funny.

Oh look, Kurtz laid out his noble reasons for wanting BUER, ending with the not-so-noble goal of ruling by fear. Well, Nene and Clarion don’t really care about your goals nor your views about humanity. Also, true fear is standing before you and you don’t even know it.

I must defend the wench, even if she’s been annoying me throughout: She’s been given the (likely false) promise that as long as she did things right, her friends wouldn’t get killed. She wasn’t doing it because she was “loyal” to Kurtis or anything. She was just doing whatever she could to save her friends. Once they were under Kurtis’ control, there was no getting out (until now likely, because Nene and Clarion have come into the picture). It’s like getting yourself caught in a cult really. Getting in is easy. Getting out however…

Ms Bunny’s a dork forced to do the villain’s bidding to save her friends. That’s why I didn’t hate her as much as cirno9fan.

      Justice for Vli-

They’re too busy reuniting and planning their snugglefest to care about Kurtz and the Big Guy.

Right. I didn’t hate her at all, really. The way I said it came out wrong. I even remember saying that she was forced to do his work in an earlier post. Whatevs, she’ll be fine.
